And to quote from the article (***emphasis mine) ...
"In addition to the security alert, Microsoft issued a patch for the vulnerability
on its Web site. However, the company today acknowledged that the ***patch itself
contains an error*** that could confuse Outlook Express 6.0 users who have installed
its service packs for Windows XP or Internet Explorer 6. "
How long, oh Lord? How long will IBM and Lou Gerstner continue to be praised by the
computing community and the Press for its cowardly surrender to these goofs and
jerks at Microsoft? It was that surrender which gave MS its monopoly and allowed
them to perpetrate this garbage on the whole world.
How long?
