    Republicans only controlled the Senate for 6 of those 8 years, and 
most of Clinton's nominees were eventually approved after hearings - Bush 
can't even get hearings scheduled for his choices. If the Senate had done 
Clinton the way they're doing Bush, the seat held by Justice Ruth Vader 
Ginsburg would still be up for grabs.

    But let's not turn this into yet another political forum. I won't 
post replies here to any additional followups, whatever else anyone has 
to say. If you insist on a debate I'll reply off-list.
