I find Fred's stuff generally informative. what I don't find
informative, I delete. I have good bandwidth, however, so it's no
burden from that angle (but that doesn't seem to be the argument
anyway). most people can just filter his stuff according to their
tastes.
so I am not opposed to his postings. indeed, I enjoy them (or ignore
them).
they do seem to annoy some people like crazy. maybe they should get a
larger proportional vote, say their votes weigh twice as much as the
votes of indifferentists like myself? <1/2*g>.
in a way, the main issue is the character of the list. we're waiting
on the judge's determination, right? isn't Fred's stuff like a chatty
way to pass the time?
if you turn off the spigot here, where can I get a nice flood of
Linux news mailed to me? I don't enjoy visiting websites. is there a
good Linux news list someone can recommend?
