[Am-info] [Fwd: Is the mandate for the list accomplished?]

I'm curious.  Has the mandate of this list been fulfilled?  I mean, is
there really any more appraising left to do?

I'm not arguing that Microsoft has been caught or punished enough.  Just
that their behavior is a known quantity.  We know the good things they
have done and we know all the bad things they have done.  More
importantly, many, many other people know as well.  In fact, I would
argue that their pattern of behavior is so well know at this point that
user's groups, media, and watchdog groups all can predict with
reasonable certainty the behavior of Microsoft in most situations.

Just a thought.
