Paul,

As AM-INFO list moderator, below are my personal views.

However, I would like to submit these points as discussion
items for other people on the list.

1. Paul Rickard's "Boycott Bulletin" is, in my opinion, good
to post to the list. If I recall, it is ASCII, not very
large, and if the subject always says Boycott Bulletin, then
it is easy enough to delete for those that don't want to
   read it.

Paul works hard on this, and no way can it be said that his
web site and newsletter is a profit-making venture. I
respect what he is doing, and am glad to assist him through
   the AM-INFO list.

What do you think about posting Boycott Bulletin to the list?

   [ ] yes
   [ ] no
   [ ] other ________________________________

2. That said, I believe our list could use more substance, more
"meat" on both sides of the Microsoft issue.

3. Fred A. Miller's frequent string of links posted to the list.

Those are OK with me. But then, a few extra small emails are
no burden for me to receive, scan the subjects and delete.
(Thank goodness, I don't use a Microsoft email client.)

The majority of his "news" postings appear to be reasonably
on-topic for AM-INFO, i.e., Microsoft, or Linux where related
to Microsoft in some way. A few are of no interest to me, but
   again, I don't mind.

What do you think about Fred's bulletins?

   [ ] OK
[ ] fewer would be nice
   [ ] stop
   [ ] other ________________________________

You know, this is the wrong time of the year to make sense out of
posting to a list. The god days of August seem to bring out a
streak of insanity from many posters. So I'll duck now.
