I have no inside info on Wal-Mart.  But I am sure that computers are just a small
portion of their total business.  Therefore, Microsoft doesn't have a stranglehold
on them.  They don't care about a few bucks for the Windows licenses they sell.

For Dell, who sells only computers, those few bucks make a huge difference.
Microsoft, by charging more per Windows license, can put Dell, or Gateway, or any of
these companies out of business.

But Gates can't put Wal-Mart out of business.  In fact, I'd wager that Wal-Mart
might well tell Gates to shove it and sell nothing but OS-less systems.
