That's an excellent idea.  That way, the clearly off-topic stuff is at
least less noticeable.  Also, like many others in the list, I'm a
newsaholic, scan several sites a day and by the time I get Fred's
postings they often aren't news to me anymore.  If Fred would digest
his postings, that would be fine with me.
