I was interviewed by a Boston Globe person (a journalist?
a correspondent?  Dunno.  A reporter, I guess) 6 years ago about 
high tech issues and Microsoft came up.  After I was castigated 
by the reporter because I felt that MS set the computer industry 
back several years with their monopoly and poor quality products, 
I've come to realized that the popular press types certainly don't
have a monopoly on critical thinking.  I mean this reporter
was animating how wonderful MS was without regard to 
any concept of objectivity.  I let it sleep.
