> QUOTE OF THE DAY
> "This will inevitably sound self-serving, but the fact is it is an=20
enormous=20
> advantage to the public to have somebody who knows about the=20
securities
> business and the securities law as I do, and it would be unthinkable=20
to deprive
> people of my expertise." HARVEY L. PITT,head of the Securities and=20
Exchange
> Commission, who said he would soon stop recusing himself from cases=20
involving
> former law clients.=20

Now, boys and girls, how do we say "conflict of interest?" And this from=20
an enforcement official??? Never mind do we detect just a small hint of=20
EGO? Get da bum outta there, now!!! I seriously question his=20
objectivity, much less his capacity do effectively do the job. Let's=20
get a head of the SEC who will weed out corporate corruption without=20
any self-serving or tainted past to rigorously enforce the law.
