[Am-info] Seeking Security After New Warnings

Well, I noticed that MSFT closed at about $53 yesterday. I generated a
5-year chart of the stock price.
It turns out that MSFT was at about $53 in mid-1998. There was a dip below
this figure near the beginning of 2001.
So almost anybody who bought Microsoft stock any time in the last 4 years
(with the exception of that short-lived dip) and still holds it has *lost*
money.
Anyone who argues that "the whole market is down" should remember that
Microsoft is considered a market leader.
And also remember that XP was supposed to "save the economy." I guess it
didn't.
