Through the marvel of GOOGLE I managed to find some details about a
Californian Class Action against Microsoft. The actual complaint can be
seen here:-

I've tried to follow the proceedings to date, but can't make head not tail
of them. How far have they got?
It would be nice to help them get their case across to the media
somehow... I guess Mr James the Anti-Anti-competition boss will be called
as a Microsoft witness stating that in the governments view, Microsoft's
monopoly is only a cause for good and consumers should be greatful that
the do not have any choice, and it's perfectly acceptable for Microsoft to
leverage their OS monoply to get a foothold in the software applications
market, followed, by a dominant position, followed by a monoply position.
Further we should be even more grateful for any lack of choice when they
leverage their OS and applications monopoly to do the same thing with
browser software, and Network Operating Systems, and mobile telephones,
and computer games, and TV set top boxes, and telecommunications, and
Internet Access, and home entertainment, and telecommunications,
and banking, and broadcasting etc. etc. etc.
Before long Microsoft will even claim a patent on any original idea you
come up with especially is you write it down on your computer using MS
Word, and if you don't use MS Word, you will be thrown in prison for using
this 'Communist' software from Finland.
