If I understand correctly, she would boot the OS/2 (or eCS) box. There would
be an icon (DOS Batch file) on her desktop which she just double-clicks and it
runs the DOS program. If it's a Windows 3.1 program, same thing. OS/2
handles the switch to DOS automagically. You could specify DOS-full screen,
or DOS window.
But you could use all the networking features of OS/2 (eCS) to connect the
machines together.
