After following a number of link I came across a list of participants at
the Microsoft Government Leaders Conference 2001. See:-
http://microsoft.crgnet.com/glc2001/participants/
This is really scary. It seems like half the UK government was there. What
were they doing there apart from getting brainwashed?
Maybe this is were the deal was done to give the NHS contract to
Microsoft... Among UK reps was Nigel Bell, CE of NHS Information
Authority, and Ron Kerr from the Department of Health.
Why on earth do world government leaders attend a Microsoft conference?
I don't remember seeing any press coverage about this.
Has anyone ever heard of any other commercial company doing something like
this?
I notice that no representatives from Peru were present.
