I can't help but agree with you.
I think the corruption involves MS (and other big companies), the Press and the
"analysts."
I think MS has built "relationships" with the Press and the analysts and uses
them to its own ends. Leak a tidbit to the press. The Press runs to the
"analysts" who confirm it and poof, the job is done. Invite them to party at
Redmond and they are your lackeys for life.
The analysts hype the stock, the Press hypes MS products and the whole world is
suckered in. Except for those few of us who steadfastly refuse to develop for
Microsoft systems. But we have no clout nor resources at all, just the Truth.
I was brought up to believe that "the Truth will out." So far, it hasn't, but
I haven't lost all faith yet.
It wouldn't devastate the economy. Just the corrupt parts of the economy. And
that would be a good thing.
