[Am-info] Microsoft monopoly - your chance to complain

I've been trying to get the Consumer's Association (in the UK) to look at
overcharging by Microsoft as well as preventing computer users from having
any choice in operating systems when buying a new computer, and it looks
as though they may be prepared dip their toes in the water just to see
what sort of feedback they get. So don't hold back. Send an email to:-

editor@which.net

with the subject 'Microsoft monopoly' and let them know how your choices
as a consumer are constrained by Microsoft's market dominance and
consequent lack of competition.

Maybe even mention that OS/2 (or any other OS you use) is a fine
alternative which works across a broad range of computers of different
specs and you are not forced into upgrades year after year, as well as
being free of email viruses not to mention all the other good things
about being Microsoft free.

This could be a big chance to get some high profile exposure to bad deal
consumers get because of the Microsoft monopoly, so try and drop a few
lines. It won't take long.

Not sure how they will take to email which doesn't originate from the UK...
