Hammer time at Microsoft - Windows to support AMD's Opteron

"Advanced Micro Devices Inc yesterday unveiled the AMD Opteron, the
long-touted "Hammer" or "SledgeHammer" 64-bit server processor,
and said it has won crucial operating system support from Microsoft
Corp.
...
The announcement was not unexpected - AMD CEO Jerry Sanders
testified in the Microsoft antitrust trial last week that he had asked
chairman Bill Gates to support Hammer over a rumored rival from Intel.
Prosecuting attorneys tried to show that Sanders only testified in order
to gain such support, which Sanders denied. "
I am simply amazed that charges of witness tampering have not been
pressed. There's obviously the "quid" the "pro" and now the "quo."
This is blatant flaunting of witness laws. I am astonished that no
respected news organization, such as the NYT or WSJ or whatever isn't
demanding some kind of action on this violation.
I am astonished that Judge K-K hasn't clobbered Microsoft and AMD with
contempt citations.
Those of you who have children, be very, very afraid, for this is the
NOT the America you thought it was that they will inherit.
