If the options are granted primarily in lieu of commensurate salaries, you bet
your bippie they should be considered as current expenses.

If this is done, I'm convinced that Microsoft has lost money for the past
several years and will lose money in the future.  And when the employees
realize that they have been taken to the cleaners, they'll be really, really
mad. So will the stockholders.

They are NOT the best-run company the world has ever seen.  They do NOT have a
top-notch management team.  They are charlatans.
