[Am-info] Open Office question.

The #1 thing that irritates most US users about StarOffice and 
OpenOffice, is the insistence of the A4 paper as "standard!!!" I've 
looked "high and low" and can't find a way to make US Letter the DEFAULT 
paper size! Does anyone know of a way to do this, or are both packages 
just plain brain dead in this regard?
