I believe you're right about OpenDoc being a considered threat to them.

BTW -- OT -- I just saw the Gingrich v. Nader debate on CSPAN
last night.  I thought it was great.  It was from last February at 
Pacific U. in OR.  Ralph knows how to stay focused, but he didn't
say anything about high tech, which slightly disappointed me.
