So if IBM owned the OLE patents, and who knows what other patents they have,
this makes Gerstner's surrender even more difficult to understand. Either he
was a coward of the lowest order, or he got something in return for that
surrender.

I would not be surprised if 90% of computer users believed Microsoft invented
PCs. This lack of information is a monumental failing of the computer Press.
