I agree with you 100% John. I don't want that piece of shit Office on
my Linux box. They should be forced to publish all their proprietary
file formats now and forever, since we know they change them from one
release to another in order to keep them moving targets.
Porting Office to other OS's is just going to extend the OTHER monopoly
they have.
I can see the State attorneys pushing for this, as they don't have the
technical heads to realize the true need. But Tiemann??? This I can't
believe. I just spent some time trying to locate his email address, as
I wanted to respond to his suggestion. No luck, and I'm sure that if I
send it to one of the email addresses found on the Red Hat web site,
he'll never see it.

I didn't have to buy my radio from a specific company to listen
to FM, why doesn't that apply to the Internet (anymore...)?
