To all extents and purposes, this is exactly what they have done, and 
continue to do.

The Microsoft Tax forces you to give money to Microsoft whether you want 
to or not.

Microsoft is stealing people's money - it makes no difference whether it
is a gunpoint or not, it's still robbery.
