This is positive. Hopeful.
After all, these hardware designers/makers/vendors don't write
OSes, networking software or major utility applications.
Why the secrecy about device registers and H/W access methods?
I would think it would behoove them to open up and sell more
gear...unless of course MS has a nasty lock on them. Now, that
couldn't be, could it? BTW, has this aspect of antitrust tying been
seriously brought up before?
