Ayn Rand worte several novels in the 30's and 40's, with the theme of one
man triumphing against the "collective". She was anti-communistic and
pro-captialist in the extreme. Those who run the Ann Rand Institute are
even further on the fringe.

I doubt it. I doubt gates has any idea who Ayn Rand was since there's no
profit in it. Though with their philosophy I can see them backing bill
gates as a self-made man against the greedy masses who are out to destroy
all he has built. I doubt they care much about all the businesses he
destroyed and crimes he committed building his empire.
