I've bought one preloaded/prebuilt computer in my lifetime.  The balance 
of my systems I've built, that would include my current system as well 
as my daughter's and my wife's.

I didn't have to buy my radio from a specific company to listen
to FM, why doesn't that apply to the Internet (anymore...)?
