Just another note regarding this issue.  If you find your way to the 
desktop pcs page at walmart, it has a small navigation bar on the left 
which lists the following:

HP PCs
Compaq PCs
Microtel PCs
	Microtel PCs with Windows
	Microtel PCs without Windows

Pretty amazing they are getting away with this.  Note, it says 'without 
windows,' not 'without an OS.'  Selecting this option brings you a page 
that lists 9 computers all with a note in bold letters, "windows 7 
monitor NOT INCLUDED".  This note in itself speaks volumes to me.  To 
the average person, it says: "you won't be able to use this machine 
until you purchase a monitor and windows separately."

I didn't have to buy my radio from a specific company to listen
to FM, why doesn't that apply to the Internet (anymore...)?
