SuSE Linux doubles market share 

 In 2001, SuSE was the only Linux distributor to double its market 
shares since the previous year. The actual PC Data figures show a 70% 
increase from the 2000 figures. As a result, the European market leader 
has positioned itself as the second largest distributor in the US 
market. 

 Holger Dyroff, Director of Sales, North America and head of SuSE 
Linux, Inc., SuSE´s US subsidiary stated, "Linux users around the world 
appreciate SuSE easy installation and administration tool YaST2, as 
well the thorough engineering of SuSE Linux. It's great that US Linux 
users are taking advantage of these features and we are happy about our 
success in U.S."
