Of course I have been told by the ECS help crew, that it installs ok if you are in a well lit room, and 
the computer is standing on a wooden base. When it tells you it cannot go further in the installation 
due to an error (in your hardware, certainly not the software), you can press ctrl alt insert and 
backspace and F7 in that order, count to 13 (not 12 or 14), then stand on one foot, facing south... 
apparently it will install.  However I have an apartment that does not exactly face south and I think I 
was off by a few degrees.  I also informed them that they did not indicate what foot (left or right) to 
stand on.  But I think I know what went wrong.  Next time I am going to try the install with my tin foil 
lined baseball hat on.
