you are very likely paying for a MS OS anyway, the "Microsoft Tax".

It has an internal 56K modem.  Most likely a Winmodem at that price.
It definitely has the extra MS keys on the keyboard.

It said "some assembly required".  Don't know how much, but it takes
very little effort to completely build your own system from components.
