Well, well, well. An on topic offering. While I haven't truly kept 
apace with the list of late, I haven't noted in your messages any 
comment on the M$ license fine print regarding the company's right
to access any harddrive on which one installs their software. It
came over the radio just now. Justification is that M$ might need 
to install - without your request or intervention - 'fixes' or upgrades
designed to answer security concerns. i.e. if another bubble in the
swisscheese code is documented (internally of course), M$ will 
silently 'enhance' your install of their software to prevent 
exploitation of that troubling 'feature', presumably without
even admitting there ever was a problem, let alone asking your 
permision to 'fix' it.  
It just keeps getting better and better...........
