Michael Kinsley resigns as editor of MSN Slate.

As reported in the New York Times; no mention on the
Slate web site.

Good man, bad job, bad company.

Could it be that the redesign of the Slate web pages to be
another damnfool MSN butterfly had something to do with it?

If you havn't noticed, top line on the Slate homepage reads:
MSN Home|My MSN|Hotmail|Search|Shopping|Money|People & Chat|

I'm disappointed.  It is about time for Microsoft management
to panic over the antitrust proceeding and again rush
something crazy into Slate, to the embarrassment of Kinsley.
I was looking forward to seeing that.
