The logs? Well, I actually keep them on the site. I did that
initially for advertising sales purposes, then kept them there in case I
ever needed to prove than the IE feature was a security problem. But
since other browsers do the same thing now (I wasn't aware of it, since
Mozilla on Mac OS still doesn't do that) I may take them down. But here's
a log sample, to show you how it can potentially violate privacy.

When I request my monthly log, the report generator has an option
of showing all clients that accessed a certain file during the selected
time period. Here's what I get when I ask for all who accessed favicon.ico

			---------------------------

Clients accessing files containing the string "favicon.ico" in this
period:

        6	194.153.172.34
        3	sdsl-66-80-0-218.dsl.sca.megapath.net
        3	adsl-64-161-28-64.dsl.sntc01.pacbell.net
        3	ool-18b8f8b2.dyn.optonline.net
        3	chello212186110122.14.vie.surfer.at
        3	agent.lisco.com
   etc, etc.

It helps to determine where the strongest demand for the site comes
from. Sometimes the domain of a government agency or large company will
come up on the list. That's always encouraging, from my position anyway.
