[Am-info] Forced to use MS Office

I can relate. I had to go to great lengths to explain to mgt why we
were using CVS on UNIX for our source code management instead of Visual
Source Safe 'like everybody else'. Nevermind the fact that all the code
is written, compiled, maintained and run on UNIX, and there had *never*
been *any* sort of source management in that area before I downloaded
and installed CVS myself. Since there didn't seem to be any version of
VSS really available for Compaq TRU-64 (nee DEC Alpha) UNIX, I managed
to 'get away with it'. sheesh.
