[Am-info] Lernout & Hauspie sells Kurzweil unit

Didn't Microsoft buy, or buy into, Lernout & Hauspie not too long ago?
I seem to recall that MS wanted to use L & H for speech recognition
in their new OS, maybe that's what's in XP.

Is there a story behind the story here, perhaps relating to MS?  

Anyone know?
