Well done and spot on. Incredible how 'justice' is dispensed
proportional to campaign contributions. Hell, after this one,
OJ will file suit because he only got off Scot-free, with no
added bonus for being guilty as charged like M$.

That echo is from the great big empty where Gate's and company should
have a conscience, where the Bush administration should have integrity
and responsibility to the people and the laws of our nation, and where
we used to seek justice in the law - its now a gaping hole, not unlike
the remnants of a strip mining operation that squeezed out the last of
our resources and moved on to 'greener' pastures.
"What does it take?" you ask? Apparently an even bigger pile of money
than The Bill spent buying out his government and the courts. This one
goes beyond what Luther decried when the Catholic church sold "get out
of purgatory free" cards to the highest bidder. This one actually
entitles the bearer to empty the pockets of any victim of their
choosing ("at M$ sole discretion"), AND grants blanket immunity from
prosecution. Hell, this one actually declares currently defined crimes
to NOT BE A CRIME, if Microsoft is the one committing it.
I expect the throne's next move will be to appoint Bill Gates as US
"Ambassador to the Global Economy".
This one has nothing to do with anything we formerly knew as the DOJ,
the courts, or the facts in the case against Gates and M$.
The DOJ has been reassigned to crush the threat of adequate pain
medication in terminal patients, to be spearheaded by the DEA.
The courts, right up to the supremes, are now on retainer to clients
like King George and The Bill.
The findings of fact have now been declared null and void (at least as
they might apply to Microsoft, we are still free to investigate and
prosecute the judge and any unkind words he had to describe The Bill).

This is one BIG joke, on all of us. With The Bill the only one who is
laughing - all the way to the bank.
Kinda reminds me of the Lee cartoon I have hanging on my wall. Two
reporters are holding mikes up in front of Superman, who stands there
with his arms folded across his chest and says "I had to cut back on
fighting for the American Way. It was interfering with the truth and
justice part."
