Not at all.  There was hope.  There still is hope.  I have a very tiny
company.  Our marketing budget runs into the tens of dollars.

Yet, in the last three months, I have been able to sell my eCS (OS/2 +) -
based software to three companies who were not currently using OS/2.  I have
several more close sales pending.

If I can do it, IBM could have done it and still could do it.  The world is
crying for alternatives to Microsoft.  There are billions of PC users and
billions of dollars to be made selling good Operating Systems and good PC
software.  There is no excuse for Gerstner's actions.  There is no business
case for his cowardice.
