That's an easy one.

Don't run a Windows server, although if you absolutely must run Windows, 
do not under any circumstances use Microsoft IIS as a Web Server, and do 
not run any Microsoft mail programs.

Over 99% of worms and viruses are delivered using Microsoft software.
