Nader created Public Citizen.  Another consumer information/advocacy
group.   I believe his first crusade was against the Corvair, which was
eventially dropped by GM after all the bad publicity generated by Nader
and his book - "Unsafe at any speed".  I think CU is a more mainstream
consumer organization with wider visibility, though I subscribe to both.
