Why don't organizations like Consumer's Union at least mention there are
alternatives to windoze in their magazines? CU claims they want to help
people to "buy wisely and avoid waste". Yet CU only ever mentions windoze
and Apple in their computer reviews. And they always refer to PCs as
"Windows machines". As if that is the only operating system for them.

Maybe targeting Consumer Reports to get them to at least acknowledge and
perhaps review alternatives to the m$ monopoly might help start the ball
rolling in making people aware that there is a way off the Microsoft
treadmill.
