Just wondered what other assets Microsoft actually has...

It's not as though they actually make anything and they don't employ all 
that many people....

If the bailiffs came in to recover a potential huge fine imposed by the 
EU, what would they find of any value?

The company's investment portfolio has not proven too successful. I read 
somewhere that they had lost several $Bn last year through bad 
investments. It kind of illustrates how badly the management would perform 
in real life trading conditions if they were unable to hide behind their 
illegal monopoly position.
