For the record, Simon engages in such attacks regularly. In this
particular instance, he started with the escalation of threats...
(remember the email implying that he would contact someone's ISP?).
People just get too emotional... we've already seen what it can do (I'm
thinking of the Brett Glass era, and the ridiculous length to which some
of the debates went, my own posts and actions included).
Please exercise some restraint. If Simon bothers you, please *don't*
reply to anything he says. Point out the fallacies in his arguments.
They're generally easy to find if/when he's wrong or expressing a biased
opinion.
Typically, I end up quite happy after doing so, since he tends to be
wrong much of the time. It's a much better way of showing the strength
of your position than calling him names.
