Indeed. But it DOES depend upon how you frame the
"problem".
My question is:
How else would one frame the problem and how would one address these other
framings?
I see my problem as a dissatisfaction with the current crop of front running
candidates.
One solution is not picking the lesser of two evils, but trusting "your
partner" to execute
a trade so each dissatistied party gets at least a little satisfaction or
avoids yet
more dissatisfaction.
In a swing state, how does one vote for Nader without giving Bush some
benefit?
I elected to trade with a Texan who didn't want his vote swamped.
Polictics, it has been said, is the art of the possible.
Technology certainly can be an enabler for a democratic society.
Is some evil genius plotting to get my protest vote changed to Gore?
Probably not.
Am I happy with voting for Gore? Could be worse.
Am I all that happy with Nader? No, but I have had a lot of respect for the
man over the years
and I would like to see his influence increase.
I was so disappointed with the shallow contents of the "debates" that I will
work
for a third party that doesn't treat the American people like fools.
