[Am-info] Appeals Court Announcement

Well, I guess most have heard that the The U.S. Court of Appeals
late today said it will convene a full panel of judges to hear
Microsoft's challenge of a breakup order.

>From what I understand, this doesn't necessarily mean that
the Supremes won't get to see it first, but that it is more
unlikely now that the COA has made this pre-emptive announcement,
before MS has even -filed- an appeal.

My thinking is that if the COA gets it first, it will drag on
as long as MS likes.

I am wondering still how the interim conduct restraints will
be affected.  If the COA decides to stay these as well, pending
an absolute final decision, then hell's out for noon.
