I suspect that Phillippe is right as he knows a lot more than I do. But it =
seems strange to me to launch such an ambitious plan for internet freedom e=
tc without dealing with the parallel issue of the fact that internet distri=
bution has had a bad effect on creators incomes and is a cause for much anx=
iety. Finding a way to pay creators for the use of their work and to provid=
e either funding or a reliable flow of revenue for investors to be willing =
to invest in creators, are vital issues. My concern is that if one issue is=
 addressed without addressing the other we may be making things worse for t=
he creators. I am reassured by Phillippe's  comments, but still feel Icelan=
d should not miss the opportunity to look at the issues I am raising at the=
 same time, especially as they have a very vibrant music economy, and no mu=
lti national major labels trying to control everything (at least in records=
), as far as I know.
