Dear All,

Fair use and free expression activists near New York City on 13 July
are encouraged to come to an ICANN consultation to discuss a new
proposal to expand trademark rights in domain names and re-write the
UDRP (without a single registrant's representative at the negotiating
table to draft this proposal!). See below.

We need the fair use and free speech activists in these communities
to come and participate in these open public consultations, so the
public does not only hear the 1-sided sales pitch that the IP
Constituency (selling the proposal) would like for the public to hear
- but can actually get a balanced dialogue on the issues.

Please contact Kathy Kleiman <Kathy@KathyKleiman.com> of the Non-
Commercial Users Constituency (NCUC) for more information in how to
participate in these consultations.

The other dates of the ICANN world tour include 15 July in London and
24 July in Hong Kong, so please start mobilizing for those
consultations as well.

Thank you for weighing in on this important issue!

Best,
Robin
