Information and Communication Technology is increasingly going
mainstream. It becomes an integral part of innovation across all
sectors. In this light, as we approach a new Parliament and Commission
what are the key issues that governments in the EU should be considering
in the area of ICT? How can open standards support the development of a
market free of lock-in that maximises competition, choice and
innovation? What will the issues be that allow Europe to grow in an
increasingly competitive global market? How do we maintain the openness
we have already achieved? Join us in Brussels on 24th April 2009 to
discuss these important issues and more.
