[A2k] Deadline tomorrow for civil society sign-on to support NCUC's petition for a non-commercial stakeholder group at ICANN

Thank you very much, Katitza and Manon!
We hear that the Intellectual Property Rights and Business
Constituencies are working behind the scenes to make sure that the
Non-Commercial Stakeholders Group will not be seated with the full 6
GNSO Policy Council seats allotted to it in the coming weeks. (They
are mad because non-commercial interests are supposed to finally have
equal council seats to their number of council seats).
We very much need broad global support for our petition to form a Non-
Commercial Stakeholders Group at ICANN to fight the IPR and Business
constituencies who claim we shouldn't be given equal council seats to
them because we are not "representative" enough.
We welcome all signatures on the petition until 5:00pm today (in
California).
