Subject: [A2k] IPR and abundance, a somewhat theoretical piece

Hi to all,

I am Roberto Verzola, a social activist in the Philippines. I have been
working on IPR issues for sometime. My book Towards a Political Economy of
Information was published in 2004.

If anyone is interested in a somewhat theoretical piece that places IPRs in
books, music, video software, the Internet, inventions, seeds, GMOs, etc
within a single theoretical framework, you may want to read my piece
"Undermining Abundance" which is available at the SSRN site:

http://ssrn.com/abstract=1160044

I would appreciate comments, critique, debate, etc. by private mail (and on
this list too, if anyone is interested). It will hopefully appear as a
chapter in a book entitled From Intellectual Property Rights to Access to
Knowledge by Gaelle Krikorian and Amy Kapczynski (eds.)

Greetings from the Philippines,

Roberto Verzola
