Standing Committee on copyright and related rights.  My summary on the
16th session:

Day 1:  Same chair was elected after over 6 hours (Jukka Liedes-chair-
for-life)
Day 2: Started well with the proposal to work on Limitations and
Exceptions for visually impaired, libraries, education (and maybe one
day just people?)
Day 3: Group B (US and EU and other rich countries) opposed work on
limitations and exceptions.

I guess they'd rather continue to work on broadcasting treaty?

Delegates are now negotiating the report of the meeting. Word per
word.  It is difficult work.  How can you diplomatically say that
(rich) countries of WIPO group B do not want to even discuss
limitations and exceptions for visually impaired, libraries and
educatioal institution?

Negotiations are supposed to conclude at 6pm.
