The seminar will throw light on some personal experiences of the speaker in=

strategizing Chinese national IP policies. The discussion is aimed to share=

national experiences of China=A1=AFs national IP strategy with other develo=

countries. It will draw a holistic perspective of national IP strategy and=

would raise issues pertaining to tools that that must be used to make=0D
national IP strategy compatible with economic development of development=0D
countries and to reconcile it with interests of various stake holders in=0D
formulating the national IP strategy.=0D

Dr. ZHANG Qin is the Deputy Commissioner of State Intellectual Property=0D
Office, China. He is also Standing Deputy Director General of National IP=

Strategy Formulation Leading Group Office, China. He is the lead drafter of=

this strategy and has considerable and deep experience in this area.=0D
